Manchester Permaculture was live on Under the Pavement, ALL FM's anarchic radio show, on Thusday March 19th. Presenters David and Spike interviewed members of Manchester Permaculture, Rob, Jules, and Zoe.
Listen out for a mix of serious discussion, humour, good tunes, and local creativity. Discussion topics ranged from the end of cheap oil and urban agriculture, through to open source software, and the activities of Manchester Permaculture Network. We also managed to give the new web site a good plugging in the process.
Tunes played included On the Earth by Taihanis, in which Zoe is lead singer. There was also a spot of live poetry by Rob (aka Count Drax). The show played out with a cheeky number called the Compost Song, by a band called Halfwise, featuring lead singer Jed Picksley. Jed is one half of the double act called Tom and Jed's Most Excellent Adventure, who will be talking at a future Manchester Permaculture Network event on April 27th.
