Jeremy Davies is a Hulme resident, and Friend of Birley Fields, who took the initiative to make a short film about Birley Fields, as part of the BBC Video Nation series. In the film Jeremy explores the issues of regeneration and development, and makes an impassioned plea to keep Birley Fields green. The film has lots of shots of the Fields, along with other parts of Hulme, including Leaf St community garden. Click here to view.
