Knott Wood Coppicers, the sister company of Treesponsibility, and The Calder Food Hub are co-hosting a day of coppicing in and around Hebden Bridge on Saturday the 28th November. The day will include workshops on the theory of coppicing and a large practical element. Participants will have the chance to cut hazel, willows and hopefully some ash from different sites in the region, using bow saws, bill hooks and loppers.
