Any One Interested in keeping bees on Leaf Street?

I would be very interested to hear from any experienced Bee Keepers which would be interested in keeping Bees on leaf street or in the Urban Bios Project.

Bees on Leaf Street

Hi, I live on Leaf Steet too. I don't particularly want to keep any bees myself, but I think it would be fantastic to see it happen here.  Also it would be good to see some chickens aound the estate. Rob

I have the time to work with someone on the bees hives if you hear of anyone interested.

Hi. I think Adele Myers said she was interested in keeping bees, and I'm sure there are others around that would be too. Health and Safety would be an issue, you would have to talk seriously to the landlords about it. Who are you by the way? There is a project called Offshoots Permaculture in Burnley that run courses on DIY hive building. Rob

I think I have seen you about, you are speaking to phil, from 45 rock dove. My good friend vinny has been transforming my garden, vinny is the man responsibly for the Urban Bios project, i am helping him on this. 

I understand you know vinny from some permaculture interests, vinny has been in and out of hospital since before Christmas due to his kidney condition.

Therefore he as asked me to carry the good work on until he is back to full Strenght.  

 

The Hive can go in my garden. Vinny is the Bee Keeper, he is a member of Heaton Park bee Keepers, but Vinny would like to get someone else involved who is local with a good understand of bee Keeping.
