Friends of Birchfields Park FOREST GARDEN PROJECT
Work Sessions Jul - Oct 2010

 

at the Forest Garden in NW corner of Park alongside Dickenson Road

There will be maintenance sessions starting at 4:30pm on the 2nd Thursday and starting at 1:00pm on the last Sunday of each month: (25th Jly, 12th & 29th Aug, 9th & 26 Sep, 14th & 31st Oct) lasting for up to 3 hours. We will have a refreshment break during each session - please bring your own refreshments for this.

Everyone welcome!

The main work will be making a clear boundary for the beds, removing weeds which compete with the Forest Garden plants, mulching, re-staking and adding a few plants.  Some tools provided, bring your own if you want.

NB: There may be other special sessions organised and advertised separately.
