Bridge-5 Mill

We are back at MERCi's Bridge-5 Mill for the 5th FeedingManchester, with over forty groups from across Greater Manchester expected to meet up for the uniquely regular opportunity to network, share and plan a sustainable food system for the city.

We have a lot to introduce, discuss and plan at FeedingManchester #5 and throughout the day we will be:

1. Updating each other with our news and progress since the last FeedingManchester in June (2010).

2. Making a sustainable food video.

3. Launching Greater Manchester's sustainable Food Directory and Web Forum.

4. Exploring the idea of a co-ordinated programme of sustainable food events and possibly a large annual sustainable food festival.

4. Providing an update and discussion about Manchester’s Sustainable Food Steering Group.

5. Discussing and planning for Manchester City Council's Climate Change Action Plan conference on  30th November.

FeedingManchester #5 starts at 9.00 am with refreshments, followed by workshops, discussion groups and presentations. The event will finish at 4.30pm.
